Gregory Braun’s practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate and real estate related transactions. Greg’s primary emphasis is on residential closings, short sales, REOs, and new real estate developments. Greg also spends a great deal of time on lease negotiating and drafting, representing both landlords and tenants. He also deals with other commercial real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, property development and financing matters.
Greg’s practice also concentrates on investor’s needs, including 1031 exchanges, self-directed IRAs, construction, insurance, financing (including FHA and traditional sources) and corporate formations, and commercial leasing.

Matt Rich concentrates his practice on transactional real estate matters. Matt advises his clients on residential real estate transactions; commercial, industrial and retail acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing, and zoning and land use matters. Prior to joining Braun & Rich, PC, Matt served as the Director of Zoning and Urban Development for the 43rd Ward Alderman of the City of Chicago. There, Matt worked on some of Chicago’s biggest real estate projects, including the redevelopment of the former Children’s Memorial Hospital site, among others.
Prior to his position with the City, Matt was an associate attorney at Richmond Breslin LLP and McCormick Braun Friman LLC working on all facets of residential and commercial real estate.

Terri West has over twenty years of paralegal expertise and concentrates in real estate law – both residential and commercial. Terri previously worked for a mid-size firm where she focused on corporate, real estate and estate law. Terri’s recent worked involved the closing of many high rise buildings in Chicago, including the Elysian Private Residences and Grand Plaza. She also assisted in the closing of various Resurrection Hospital properties.
